Start with the Sun
In Western astrology, the Sun describes a broad theme of identity and self-expression. A Sun-sign comparison can be a light introduction to a conversation about relationships, but it cannot describe the whole person. Your upbringing, habits and choices matter far more than a label.
The Moon: emotional comfort
Astrologers associate the Moon with emotional habits and what feels familiar. Use this idea to ask a concrete question: when you have had a difficult day, do you want company, reassurance, practical help or space? Ask your partner rather than assuming their answer from a chart.
Venus: affection and enjoyment
Venus is traditionally linked with affection, pleasure and values. A useful exercise is to each write down three gestures that make you feel appreciated. Compare your lists. A gift, an uninterrupted conversation and help with a chore can all communicate affection differently.
