Can you check compatibility without a birth time?
What you can explore, what is uncertain, and what to skip.

Yes, with clear limits
You can compare zodiac signs you already know without entering a birth time. That gives you a broad, symbolic starting point. It does not produce a complete synastry reading, which compares two natal charts.
What depends on time
The ascendant and houses depend on birth time and location. The Moon can also change sign during a birth date. If the time is unknown, those parts of a chart may be uncertain and should be labeled accordingly.
Do not invent precision
Using noon as a placeholder can be useful in some chart tools, but it does not recover the missing birth time. Avoid treating placeholder houses or an uncertain Moon sign as fact. A responsible report should explain what it has omitted.
What to do instead
Start with a conversation about your actual preferences. How do you handle disagreement? What does commitment mean to you? How much time alone feels comfortable? You can explore those questions whether or not you know a birth time.
Using AstroLuv
Select known Sun signs in our tool. If you know both Moon or Venus signs from another chart, you can use the same elemental comparison as a reflection exercise, but our interpretations are written for Sun signs.
Astrological interpretations are traditional symbolism, not scientifically established relationship predictions.
